Concrete Placing Booms Mounted on Tower |

We have performed a design, analysis and consulting for many concrete placing booms mounted on a tower, from 20m to 42m horizontal reach. The placing booms have been installed on the designed tubular or rectangular columns as well as on the designed or adopted lattice towers.
Towers and columns can be free standing or self climbing, or even installed on the slip or the jump form at high rise building. In many cases we designed the steel support base for distribution of the load on the wide area of the formwork system.
The truck mounted concrete booms can be efficiently redesigned to be detachable and be quickly installed on the tower and on the truck either.
In the constrained environment when the counterweight and its frame can not be applied, then the reinforcement of the current columns is the solution using all existing accessories, floor frames, lifting hydraulic cylinders, main pins etc.
We carry out inspections and certifications as well as assessment for continued operation for the tower placing systems in accordance to current regulations by Operational and Health Safety Authority and Australian Standard.
Design verification for new concrete placing booms should be carried out before their import or fabrication in accordance to new OH&S Regulations from 2011. Milop senior engineers are highly competent and qualified to perform the verification efficiently at customers satisfaction.
Certification after six yearly overhaul Our engineers will inspect the placing boom and give advice about the most efficient way for the six yearly overhaul. After completed maintenance works, the final load tests, with 25% overload, will be applied on the boom. After the successful testing the Six yearly certificate will be issued.
